Well I'm only a year or so past 100K, which is 121,000. Still silky smooth (except the int. steering shaft rattle..couldnt get that lucky) and no money spent on any break downs. Just wondering how many miles some of these GMT800 platforms got on 'em.

really ? I hadn't seen one on (course i ain't been on gm-trucks all that long or look back to page 700 on the threads) . i didn't know that that was such a bore if every one had done been there n done that then i get it...but bunches of these truck sigs look like they're 900 platforms so thats why i targeted it towards the trucks like i got.

My 2002 Sierra his a little over 256,000 and I'm the original owner. No major repairs. Just basic maintenance like: fluids, tires brakes, suspension, tuneups, etc. Still looks and runs good, though it's been on a few jobsites. I'd still drive it anywhere, BUT.....in about 2 weeks, it gets replaced by a 2010 Sierra Z71 with the works.

I'll still keep the '02 to go in the garage with the '72 Super Custom.

Well I posted about mine is this thread...(another high mileage thread )

But just to update, my 2003 Silverado 4.8 5 Speed 4x4 just did another 1800 mile west coast round trip over new years...I am now near 147,000.

I just had my first California smog check...it barely registered ANYTHING...that is how clean the thing runs and I think a good indication of engine health.

I am still on ORIGINAL brakes all around that are only 50% gone...only regular maintenance, Mobil 1 in everything and I swear this truck will go 500K miles....I am never selling it, it is just unreal, still starts, runs, feels and drives like new!!

I think these may be some of the best vehicles ever, with simple maintenance they just go and go. The engines are near bullet proof it seems, mine does not burn or leak a drop of oil!!

2000 Tahoe 5.3, running 100% perfect with 131,000 on it

As a side note, at the dealership, this past September a customer came in (for service) with a 1997 Sierra 2wd, 5.7 R with 424,000 miles on it...I saw the odometer and almost fell over. Truck looked like it had 50k miles on it.....

And taliking about milles, I always ask why do the Yaris forum ( I do have a Toyota Yaris), they always talk about 350000miles on it, 370000 and no problems with alternators??

Our trucks, on the topics of milleage, always 120k max 200k, is there a maximimum milleage duration on our trucks?

Highest I have seen myself is over 400K miles on a 99 GMC Sierra 5.3. I have seen many over 250K.
