strange words

Any strange words you guys will only hear in your area - Here in my part of Pa. we use the word anat as to say I am going to walmart for some oil anat, meaning gonna get some other stuff too, any goofy words you all use. A buddy at work who lives down off our mountain almost wets his pants from laughter when he hears us use it.

There are loads of strange words that I saw, I guess.  Like a creek is crik, always been that way to farmers, but no one else has a clue what we are talking about.  I'm sure there are lots more I say, but I don't know what they are since I talk normal, the rest of you talk funny.

Oh boy do I have some for you.

 

"Fat Stacks"= Lot's of money

 

"Homie"= Buddy, friend, etc

 

"Five-O" = Police

 

"popo"= (also) police

 

"Stole" (In sentence): "Man, he just stole you in your jaw!"= Punch, hit, etc.

 

Got plenty others, but hose are the main ones that are stuck in the top of my head,
