Ive heard good things from his tune and he lives only an hour from me. He uses efilive just like blackbear. Any real world experiences? waitformeperformance.com

I got one a few years ago. The PCM was filthy, mud all over it, One of the screws was stripped out. I put it in the truck and it ran like sh!t. I called Jesse. didn't answer the phone and wouldn'return my emails. It was pure garbage so thats where it went, in the garbage. Thats probably why I have had a Diablo since then.

hmmm ok well convinces me lol....only difference in my situation is Id go to his shop. But if it ran like dog pooo than that turns me off.

I had good luck with one of his tunes... My 03 ran good with it.. but I've read things that are excusable. So I just don't recommend him personally. You may have better luck with him since he's local :cool:

 

For the price difference, I'd go with Blackbear, GoWheatley or Nelson performance. I've never read anything bad about the service those guys provide.

There have been others like myself that had bad luck and no customer service with him. But there have been many others satisfied. You pays your money and takes your chances.

Feels like playing the lotto...no thanks. I would rather have a guaranteed "insider" chance than the lotto.

How good are wester's tune (canada) ? or should i get a blackbear tune ? any information will be helpful.

I have a W4M tune...its been good for me.

 

I wish I would have went with Blackbear though...I have heard from a lot of guys that switched that its night nad day....almost like going from stock to tuned.

 

But If your going to his shop...it should be a whole lot better...he can actually do a proper data logged tune.

I would go with Black Bear, I haven't had any experience with Wait4me but from what I have heard he leaves a lot to be desired with his tunes and customer service.

I ve had two of his tunes and I think he does a good job. If he s close to you thats who I d use in case you need any followup work. I ve used two of the three or four major tunners here and Last time used a local EFI live tuner. I know guys are going to go crazy but they were all good tunes and I didn t see any difference in there tunes and all of the tunes are 1000X better than stock. I think it s all about convience although with all the tunes I ve had only once I needed something cleared up on one of them.

I've had him my last 2 trucks. I went into it blind so to speak. With my 06 ECLB I didn't do any research as far as customer satisfaction. I just went with Jesse because it was a good price. Maybe I've been lucky, but when I call they either answer the phone, or call me back in a timely manner. E-mail correspondence has always been fast (same day responses) The tunes have been great. Both trucks seem to like them. When I have needed updates, I got the computer back within a week of him receiving it. I don't know, I'm very happy with the service, but some people haven't had the same experience I have. Knock on wood I guess.

 

On a side note, my stock tune is in right now and I hate driving the truck. What a dog this thing is! I'm getting the tire size adjusted, and more TM pulled. I can't wait.

      Which one, the AT or AS?   Starfire is made by Cooper/Goodyear but at $85/tire I'd think I'd need to level-set my expectations that they may not even be round 😉 But you're saying they're decent?   I'm already into this thing $1506 in parts, fluids, etc. Totaled all my receipts today. $250 of that was replacing an EGR and MAP sensor that were probably fine, but I'm not going to return the parts since they've been installed. I'm cheap, but not that cheap. I use it, I keep it!   I may or may not make money if I sell the truck at this point, but, that wasn't really the point. And if I billed my time, I'd be hosed for real. My thought on the tires is I "might" put 1,000 miles on before selling it. I just don't want to put absolute junk on it, that doesn't do anyone any good. If the Solus solidly isn't junk, I'll definitely consider them.

      I leave mine as is. I'm always a trip away from riding on unpaved roads. Dealer can clean it when they prep it after I trade it in for another new truck.

      4WD. Far as I know it came stock with P's and not LT's. Definitely planning to put P's on it, but stock is a 109 XL load rating so I should probably stick within that guideline.   No rebates on anything I can see at the moment. Discount Tire is offering $50 off, but Pep Boys is very competitive on price, and also carries all the off-brand stuff. Les Schwab always wants an arm/leg, but they do good work.   It still has the original spare. Goodyear Wrangler RT/S, thing looks like a tractor tire LOL!! How times have changed.

      2020 Sierra 2500 HD (base model) gas engine 4wd.    All 4 windows roll down on their own. Happens somewhat randomly after stop and engine off - when engine turned off, when walking away from vehicle before or after locks activated. Pulled the window fuse F14 Instrument Panel Fuse Block Right; the driver's side still activates from driver's side door panel; passenger and back seat windows activate from local switches on their doors but not from driver's side group of switches. Power mirrors don't activate with fuse removed either (same fuse for both circuits). Problem not solved.    How can they even activate with fuse removed but they are all still opening and can control from each door?  When they open on their own, I can shut them from the switch in each door, but they don't stay closed.    Seems to be activated somehow with key fob; something bumping the key fob in my pocket or just handling - removed key fob and took it far enough away and now the windows stay closed. Replaced key fob batty just in case, no change.    Sounds like some kind of wiring short or maybe electronics. Dealer will first replace electronic control module without checking anything else and I anticipate problem will still exist since their troubleshooting skills are limited to "do whatever the computer says".  In any case, keyfob seems to be activating the circuitry.    Surely I'm not the only one with this issue, but I can't find anything related on the site. What do yall think?   JohnRoy
