I agree. This segment is very competitive. What I like is GM's new aggressive marketing. They called out Yota on its conception of class leading MPG. Now there going after the #1 selling F series. Gotta love it.

The F-Series is not the # 1 selling. At least not in the 1/2 ton segment. GM has spanked them for quite a few years now when you combine the GMC Sierra and Chevrolet Silverado sales. GM Trucks rule. PERIOD.

As to the test.....it's generating interest...the actual test is pointless...because it would all come down to tires.

Let me clarify for you.

 

Ford F series (F-150, F-250, F-350, not sure about medium duty) outsells Chevy Silverado and GMC Sierra as seperate brands.

 

I'm very aware that when both Silverado and GMC are combined they blow away Ford sales numbers.
