What is next ?

I got my cat back gibson installed.

My volant CAI ships on Monday.

And I get my tune Feb 6th.

Any more reasonably priced mods to do?

Might have to step away from the performance, and start on the appearance , grills, lights etc.

free mod: remove the lower section of the front bumper valance :puke:

Maybe a bed liner and cover, new grill (depending on which one you have), color-matched mirrors instead of the chrome plated

Diablo or custom tune? Quite frankly a custom tune will cost less than most mods and make a world of difference in how the truck drives.

You've pretty much covered the standard performance mods. To do more performance, you would need to dig deeper (intake manifold, headers, supercharger, underdrive pulleys, etc.).

EDIT: You could look into the Corvette servo for the transmission...it firms up the shifts. You need to do this either before your tune, or have your tune updated after you install it.

Time to shift over to appearance mods!

I'm getting the live tune from Justin in New Orleans on the 6th

Yeah , that looks like the direction that I will be going. Don't really wanna dig into the motor yet.

Thinking about getting a spray in bed liner, and the grill next.

Any preferences?

Does this serve a purpose, or it's just for looks?

Thanks for the replies

It's to squeeze another 1/2 mpg out of the truck during EPA testing. On the street it does nothing special except make the front of the truck look low.

No not really. Removing it will give the front end the appearance of being higher. And it really serves no purpose on the truck either, now that you have leveled it out.

For the spray-in liner, if I had bought it on my own, I would have gone with Line-X colormatched. Unfortunately, the dealer sprayed in some generic liner before I even looked at the truck I bought.

For the grill, my favorite is the Denali (as seen in my sig pic) grill, followed by the All-Terrain grill. Of course, you can't go wrong with billet, either...

I've searched this forum over, and it seems that I can't go wrong with either line-x or rhino. So I'll just see who has the best price when I'm ready

Nice grill!

I like the way that looks.

The all-terrain you mention...... thats the one between the tow hooks?
