can someone run an inquiry in the gmvis for VIN# 1GKFK66837J390248 2007 YUKON XL DENALI

 

HAVING CONTINUING PROBLEMS WITH DRIVERS SIDE HEAT CONTROLS, HEAT ONLY WORKS SPORADICALLY, MOSTLY COOL AIR BLOWING FROM DEFROST, CANT CONTROL VENTS, DEALER HAVING DIFFICULTY FIXING PROBLEM.

I can see that the dealer did a reprogram of the HVAC control module back in Sept. of last year on it,but thats it....

Thank you very much for the reply. That did not fix the problem, actually it is worse, brought it back in (third time now) they say they need to order a new control head as it is not send thru the signals it receives, does this sound correct? They did not say anything about acuators, but they did say they check all wiring connections and they were fine, also they powered down system and that did not work.

Well the control head itself could very well be the issue,as it is the main item that controls the HVAC system and functions,so its very possible its bad.

We have seen actuators fail,but that was on the old body style trucks ('99-'07 GMT800 trucks) we haven't seen many,if any,issues with the HVAC systems on the '07-up GMT900 trucks/SUV's.
