2004 Silverado 1500 Service Manual

Hello All!!

 

Just wondering if someone out there might have a PDF service manual for the 04 Silverado. I found one one ebay, but if I can avoid paying the $25 bucks I'd like to do that.

 

FYI, I have the owners manual, but it does not go into specifics. I plan on doing some major maintenance love on my new to me truck.

You won't find a full service manual for any truck on the web for free, nobodies going to put a $150 book on the internet for free. So I'd find a gently used one on ebay, that's what I did, and it's served me well.

Yep, as noted above John...you really dont have the option of getting a service manual free unless you want to download it from a P2P site (search GM SI) but be warned....mine had came with TONS of virus and bugs (total file size was 5GB) so I ended up getting a copy via ebay and it was cleaner than a brand new pair of undies

One thing I have found, the repair information on alldatadiy.com is the exact same as in my shop manuals (the 5 volume OEM GM book). This applies to the illustrations as well. This might be a more useful thing for you than having to order all these big volumes.
