Adding Heated Washer Fluid

During the winter I take my Tahoe to Tahoe quite often and really like the idea of heated washer fluid. I've been searching trying to learn as much as I can about all the recall and fires with the OEM hotshot system. The aftermarket option just has power and ground and an activation switch so after its activated and heats up you would manually activate the wipers/sprayer. For the recall gm adds a low amp fuse to the wiring harness while the power wire already has a 60 amp fuse and since the OEM button will activate the wipers/sprayer this leads me to believe that there is a control module and the circuit board short occurs in the control module and not the heater, can anyone verify this?

My plan is to find an OEM switch panel with the button and use it to control an aftermarket hotshot, would this be safe?

Whats the part number for that switch panel (I have parking sensors, adjustable pedals, and stabilitrak already)?

Does the OEM heat the rear fluid as well?

Anyone hear of ALPHATERM? It looks identical to the hot shot so maybe they just set up shop under a new name because of the lawsuit.

The other day I heard of someone who installed the AlphTherm on their Toyota and so far they are very pleased with it.
