[95 Silverado]

A truck driver was driving down the interstate when a state police car pulls up behind him, flashes his lights and signals for him to pull over.

  The truck driver immediately increases his speed and keeps driving. Unfortunately for the truck driver his rig was low on fuel and he runs out after about 75 miles.

   After drifting off to the side of the road, the now enraged police officer storms up to the truck and tells the driver how many laws he's broken and threatens to haul him directly to jail. He then demands an explanation, but he gives him a warning  "This better be good because I've heard every excuse there is"

  The driver immediately replies

 " My wife ran off with a state trooper two weeks ago,

 I thought you were bringing her back."
