Help Finding Tsb's For 2007 Max

I have 2007 1500 max crew cab with the 6.0 and have a few issues I need the dealer to fix before the warranty is up.

I am sure if I dont tell them the exact tsb they will say everything is fine.

Here are my 2 issues

1 Engine idles funny at a stop it almost feels like someone rearended you, the engine surges.

Otherwise runs great and has awesome power.

2 When the air conditioning is on there is a ticking sound coming from the vents. Almost like somthing is loose in there.

Are there any other common things I should look for in the next month before the warranty is up?

Was there somthing about the plastic trim between the crew cab doors not being right because there is a gap between

the plastic and the rubber seal?

I'm sure the dealership will help you out, but I've not had either issue with my Vmax.

Good luck getting it fixed.

I've had my truck in twice for the issue about the rearended feeling you get when at a complete stop. The dealership has lubed my slip yolk and it helps for a month or so then it comes back again, so I guess they never really fixed it. I'll just keep taking it back.

I also had the gap between the plastic interior panaling on the lower b-pillar and the rubber seal. I only had the problem on the passenger side but the dealership replaced both sides. I had to show them the TSB for that one because they couldn't find it.

Hope this helps.

My 3yr/36,000 mile warrenty will be up this fall, or in 5,000miles. Whichever comes first. I'd also like to know what to look for before it runs out.

For numer two try holding or moving the volume control if it makes the noise go away then the TSB fix will be adding a block of foam tape to the inside of the duct to hold the volume damper. I didn't like that so I put a shim in at the pivot to hold it tight.

I too have issue #1 on my 2007 VMax, almost feels like the brakes "let go" for a second. I'm out of warranty so I just live with it :uhoh:

+1. I have the bump too, but it happens so infrequently I just live with it.

Alldata, $45.00 for five years, you get all manuals online PLUS TSBs...might be worth it to some
