anyone read about the scam toyota ran? saved something like 100 million by ignoring safety regulations and gumming down the recalls, lol their finacial records were siezed and they go before the court i think this week

Just goes to prove that Toyota isn't worth keeping in this country.

 

They were able to delay putting in safety items and a few other things to help save all that money which goes to show that they care only about money not their customers. Glad this information is all coming out.

well heres the thing, every company sets aside money for lawsuits(ford and gm both did it when they built rolling bombs)...but they did it as a back up plan incase something went wrong with their cars, in toyotas case they knew the flaws and just ignored them and bathed in the money...

Wen GM had the 'saddle tank' trucks.... 60 mins did a special on that, and the only way they could get them to blow up on impact was when they shot it with a rocket. I am not a rocket scientist, but doesn't anything blow up when you shoot it with a rocket? I am pretty sure thats how it went down. I am not arguing your stament jr0909, b/c you are correct.
