My engine light is iluminated on my 03 yukon. Would this be a bad O2 sensor? I sometimes have a hard time starting my vehicle after a long run. If it is the culprit and I want to replace my O2 sensor (the one on the driver side just below the manifold), can someone help please. Does anyone have a step by step procedure in doing this? Pictures will be helpfull for location. Thanks.

Go to AutoZone, have them pull the code with a code scanner, then come back. Otherwise you can just sit there for months replacing parts. The CEL lights on more than just O2 sensors out of spec.

I've never had it done since I have AutoTap, but from everything I've read, yes it's free.

i know this is a nu b question. Is removing the O2 sensor a righty tighty and lefty loosey kinda deal? dont want to strip the tread. Brims..had it checked out and it is the O2 sensor on the drivers side after the exhaust manilfold..just before the cat. I forgot what the number code was, but he did say it was the O2.

yeah, you remove it like any other bolt...but you need a special socket to put the new one in if you cannot get at it with a wrench...basically a socket missing one side where the wire comes out...but you should be able to get it with a wrench. They may be stuck in there pretty bad though, depending on your millage and what type of climate you live in.
