Has Anyone Heard Of/done This?

Local shop said they will space out the front fenders on my '07 sierra to reduce rubbing issues. Claimed it works better than adding a body lift and looks stock. Has anyone heard of or seen this done?

When I try to visualize it, I imagine them spacing the fenders outward, upward, or both... in which case the body lines would be off. If that could even be done

I've heard of people moving the front BUMPER forward 1/2" or so to help clear tires..... but the fenders... ...uh, no.

all you have to do is trim off a little in the front and back of the front fenders and then you should be fine, you don't need to "bubble out" your fenders or put a body lift on. how wide are you wheels?
