OK, so while waiting for my 2 in RC fron t level kit to come in, I was out and asked three different shops about alignment after the kit instal and got three answers. This is why I never trusted these alignment shops because I think 3/4 of them don t know what they are doing. I was told that they just use the factory alignment numbers by one, another said it would not be correct doing it that way cause of the kit, and another didn t seem to know what to say, and of coarse my favorite, "just bring it in and if we get it close thats good enough". The online place who sold the kit said if I called back Monday the guy who installs the kits can give me an answer.(maybe). I m sure someone here knows so I can decide which shop to let do the alignment.

The camber/caster/toe should all be set to factory specs.

The shop that said "we'll get it as close as we can" was referring to issues that some people have with running out of adjustment before the alignment is within spec... though this shouldn't be much of an issue with just the RC spacer installed.

so they are wrong for saying not to set up to factory spec s after the spacers is in?

As you start putting bigger tires on, its generally a good idea to target the "nominal" specs since the OEM tolerances given on the alignment specs are for stock sized tires. But the overall "target" spec is still the same.

right on better be safe than sorry...as soon as you begin to play in there alignment should be re-cheked I just crancked my T bars on my previous truck and the tire became wear from the side real fast...get to a good alignment shop where they have latest technology tools and they will do that before your coffee is done and your tires will wear like nothing ever happen.
