Pass Side Window Rolls Up Crooked And Power Lock Problem

Looking for some advise on 2 problems on the 97 we just bought.

1) Passenger side window tilts forward as it rolls up and once up all the way it is about 1/2" too far forward at the top leaving a nice place for water to get in and a lots of air noise. Whats broke?

2) Drivers door lock seems to be in a bind. When I hit the power lock/unlock button on the drivers door the manual button doesn't lock or unlock. You can see the manual button move up or down a little but not enough to either lock or unlock the door. THe passenger side door locks or unlocks immediately when the power lock button on the drivers side door is pushed. Took drivers door pannel off and could not see any problems. Any ideas?

It'd be nice to get some answers...I remember a few years ago when a post would actually get some answers from this forum...guess that changed over the last few years. Anybody?

Window problem is related to the "X" shaped regulator that works the windows up/down. You have either lost a guide or it has jumped track, either way you are probably facing replacement of your window regulator/motor unit. The door lock/unlock is associated with a tired actuator or a bind in your lock linkage. If it all looks good in the linkage, time for a new actuator. I hope those answers are sufficient for you, even though you had to wait a day...
