Banks Ram Air

I have been talking with Banks Power. They would be interested in a group purchase of 15 or more Ram-Air systems. The savings would me more than $50 per unit. Reply or PM me if you are interested.

I would be interested, but they don't offer 1 for my truck. 09 2500HD with 6.0. Talked to them about a month ago and they said they will keep me on file and notify me if they come out with one for the truck.

The product I was interested in was the CAI kit, not the "snorkel". I believe the "snorkel" would be a bad idea for a daily driven truck also.

I have been thinking about a BANKS cai for a while....yep, I would be interested....

HD Classic, see you have the 6.0 also, check with Banks to make sure it will fit your truck first. Read yesterday on another board that a guy with an 06 2500 HD with the 6.0 bought it and it doesn't fit his truck. Contacted Banks and they said they didn't offer it for his truck and it was for the 1500's.

 

Markd, is it possible the guy you are talking to you can let him know that you have some guys that are interested in the system but they have the 6.0 motor and maybe they will make 1 for us?

They don't make one for the 8.1L.

I have a banks CAI on my 6.0. I like it, they don't offer the snorkle for it, but I don't think that I would want that anyway. MPG was slightly better, but it would tank a Loooooooooooooooooooooooooooonnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnngggggggggggggggggggggggggggg time for it to pay for it's self. It does have a deeper sound when you give it gas

The website says that the ram air does not fit 2008, 2500 and 3500 pick-ups. I notice that you have a 2008 pick-up, did they say that it would fit your truck? I have a 2008 silverado 2500 HD, I would be interested, but it does not fit my truck.

Any idea what the final price would be?? I talked with Banks today and normal price is $430. $50 off that would be $380. There are multiple places selling them on the internet for $358.20. The guy I talked to at Banks said he would sell it to me for that price as well, but that is the lowest anyone is allowed to sell it for. Not really sure what a "group buy" would do for us.
