Cargo Management System With Truxedo Low Pro Tonneau

I have the Truxedo Low Pro tonneau cover installed in my bed, with a rhino spray in liner. I also bought and installed a cargo management rail system. After installing, I bought the small side tool box that goes with the cargo rails...however the tool box won't open, it hits the rails of my tonneau cover (on both the sides and front of the bed).

 

Just wondering if anyone else had this problem and if you had any way to make this box work with this cover. I'm going to see if I can rig something up to make the box work, just wanted to see if anyone came across the same thing though.

Any chance you could space the CMS rails out from the bedside with longer bolts and some washers or a bushing? Just a thought.

I have ran into the same problem with a new Extang Revolution tonneau cover as well. The low profile design has the tonneau cover rails that extend into the bed of the truck. With the design of the CMS and small tool boxes, I can't have both on at the same time. The advertisments said these things worked with the CMS, but I guess it didn't say it worked with the CMS with accessories.

 

If anyone has solutions or ideas, please let me know. I would like to use both, but am running out of ideas.
