New Rear Oil

Well I finally had a day off so I decided to change my rear end oil. It really wasn't all that bad. The thing that took me the longest was getting the spare tire down. It was stuck up there pretty good. There was no metal in the oil or on the magnet so that was a plus. I cleaned everything out and used a small amount of high temp RTV and the GM gasket to seal it up good. I used Gm synthetic oil. That stuff is not cheap, $24 a qt. So far so good.

Dude, Mobil1 75/90 gear oil is only like $9.00 a quart.
