picked them up off of Ebay for $45... not bad. I like how it brings something to the very plain mirrors.. ihated the Chrome caps on the LTZ tahoe I had before.. These are escalade imposters.. attach with 3m, went on in 5 minutes. a little denatured alcohol rub on mirror and done..

what do you think? I like them, glad i did it. All the denali's I see none have these around here. Trucks is filthy dirty but still lookin Sweeeeet.

In the sun it almost looks brown? Must be the metallic flake in the paint?

yeah i just sold my white mirror caps i was planning on putting on my LTZ Tahoe, i hated those chrome caps. remind me of like Pep Boys chrome mods lol.. These just seem to accent the mirrors nice without being "in your face". Really think GM should have done this to the Denali, but then again the Escalade gets the "top spot"

Not bad. My only issue with the stick-on lower cap is that it doesn't go all the way across as it does on the Caddy's. So you can still see the black plastic portion. Not sure if they have another piece that can go over there or not. But it's not bad. I do like it better than the upper mirror caps.

I weighed that option but.. try and find the escalade mirrors with all the functions, hope they work as promised and then they STILL don't line up correctly because the window sill molding on the escalade is different, so it's like 6 in one hand 1/2 dozen in the other? This way was $45 and 5 minutes the other way is $300,400,500? and all the variables, plus swapping your mirror caps (ever try to swap those? the tabs break with ease). That small piece of black blends right into the other black base of the mirror which is gloss black on the escalade and doesn't match the trim (another downside)..

They look nice. I thought the Denalis already had these like the Escalades...guess you learn something new every day on this board!

I was considering the Escalade mirrors for my 09 SD too. There is a website that can be found using search on here(I lost it the link...) that offers the factory Escalade mirrors at a very reasonable price and in new condition. It was usually cheaper than buying them used on Ebay.

I also didn't like the gap that it leaves though, and I think the only way to make them look decent is by adding the window sill trim, which I haven't seen anyone do. Considering the Sierra Denali windows are somewhat different from the Caddy's, I'm betting it wouldn't even fit on the window sill properly.

Yeah, that's pretty much what I've found out as well. And if it's not perfect, I won't be happy. :dunno: Still a nice cheap mod though.

I'll just keep mind stock for now until I can find everything for a reasonable price... or another option. I really just wish they had puddle lights on the bottom of the truck mirrors though (like they do on the SUV's). That would be my main reason for swapping mirrors.
