New Owner Of A 2003 Silverado

I bought a 2003 Silverado Reg Cab 5.3 V8 everything in it still factory 2 weeks ago....

So far I think I am in love.... I been saving and saving for a new Truck. I bought this one for 5700 off Criagslist with 81k in miles talked the seller down from 6300.

 

The Speedometer was broken when I bought it, The dealership covered the part but I had to pay the 80 bucks in labor considering it was just above the 80k mark I considering myself lucky because the recall on it was up.

 

Right now am Upgrading the Sound System with

one 10 inch woofer with 400 watt amp (elemental Designs)

Front 6 1/2 components with another amp 120 watts each (elemental designs)

and Still haven't decided on upgrading on what 4x6's i was thinking Kappas *taking suggestions

But the HU I want doesn't come out till may so it will be 2 months before I put it all in.

 

My next upgrade is the LINE X bed liner over the rails... I need to call this week to schedule that.

 

The other upgrade after I do both of those and figure out my money I am thinking of putting a 40 series Flowmaster....

 

I am hoping to make my new truck a hobby for myself... I never had a vehicle I felt proud enough to invest money into, I look forward to discussing and learning from these forums.

Welcome SC !!! Nice truck I had one like that extended cab and put a flow on it.

make sure you get the flow 40 original.

 

K thanks for the advice.... I live around the Camden/Coumbia area of SC if you know a good place to suggest to have the work done. Should I go to a authorized dealer and buy the parts or should I buy the parts online and take it to favorite muffler place?

 

Those Picks your Sig of the waterfall... Is that Tennessee right off the Appalachian trail?

Actually off the trail in NC near Asheville and yes I know an excellent shop were I have had 3 muffler systems installed and these guy's do top notch work.

Shop is in Columbia,I don't live far from you just south of Camden in Hopkins.
