A Torsion Key Comment

Worked on a buddies truck last night. 2003 1500. he has 285 mud tires and a rough country torsion key lift......his ball joints failed in one year after the keys and tires. The was ZERO suspension rebound/ droop. It rides fine actually which surprised me, but I couldn't convince him the ease off his torsions a bit the get a little droop back. I recommended him getting moog joint to prolong the life but he opted to go with duralast pos joints. Time will tell.

 

I still wouldn't mind leveling more than I have but you only can get a 1-2 inches safely unless you buy cognito upper control arms.

I lifted mine 1.25" friday night. makes a little difference, notihing noticable in the ride change. Looks better but I am not willing to go anymore then that.

 

I think my rearend sits lower than it should, with a full tank of fuel I am right at 37.5" height measuring through the center of wheel, ground to edge of flair.
