Side Mirrors Messed Up

I'm having problems with my auto tinting side mirrors. my driver side mirror is stuck in the tinted mode except for a strp at the top of the glass. when i push on the tinted part its like watter is inside the mirror. Anyone have any ideas? here are a few links to some pics i tried to take of the mirror. can anyone explain how the auto darkening function works?

auto tinting what?,if no one can copy and paste it here for you ,ask the service manager or advisor or shop foreman can print it out for you ,or get a diagnoses ,you will need a very expensive scanner to fix it yourself,sorry
