Silverado Face Lift

I was reading on wikipedia that

Silverado LT/LTZ models underwent a subtle facelift for 2010, including LED headlamps, revised door trim, and shinier chrome on the grille; all Sierra models were left unchanged.

 

What exactly was changed and was the Sierra really left unchanged? I've been away from the truck scene for a little while.

WTF? As far as I know, nothing's changed yet except for the 2011(?) HD trucks.

Nothing has changed that I know of. LED headlamps would be easy to spot.

2010 Silverado Changes per GM's website:

 

• 3.08 axle ratio and fuel saver mode standard with 5.3L V-8 for improved fuel economy – including 15 city / 21 hwy for 2WD and 4WD models and an increase to 22 hwy for the Silverado XFE
  
• E85 FlexFuel capability on 4.8L, 5.3L and 6.2L engines. E85 comprises 85 percent ethanol and 15 percent gasoline, reduces greenhouse gas and smog-forming emissions, is domestically produced and helps reduce dependence on petroleum
  
• Variable valve timing on 4.8L and 5.3L engines improves fuel economy
  
• Six-speed automatic transmission on regular and extended cab models with 5.3L V-8
  
• Side curtain air bags and seat-mounted side air bags standard on all 1500 models
  
• USB connectivity on all radios (except base), enabling stored audio files to play through the audio system and battery charging for some handheld devices
  
• Revised interior door trim
  
• Rearview camera available on more models
  
• StabiliTrak electronic control system now standard on all 1500 models
  
• Two exterior colors: Taupe Gray Metallic and Sheer Silver Metallic
  

 

 

Doesn't say anything about LED headlights.

you sure they werent talking about the Cadillac Escalade? The Slade was supposed to be getting LED headlights some time in the future.

Well, I knew it didn't get LED headlamps.... I was thinking along the lines of LED turn signals. I guess that did not happen. I will go on wikipedia and correct this junk that someone posted.

The door panels (front drivers and pass side) were changed for 2010. A cup holder was added (now 2) and the door handle moved forward more. This is on the LT version
