Autoride or aftermarket shocks?

Recommended Posts

Hi.  I am "this" close to buying a new Yukon.  It will be 4x4, but only need that for when I go snow skiing.  I will be putting on 20" x 8.5" wheels with 305/50/20 tires.  I live in SoCal, so will be on paved streets 99.9% of time.  I plan on installing aftermarket sway bars and polyurathane bushings all-around.  I am after a "sport truck" ride... body roll is my enemy.

My question is should I opt for Autoride system or would I be better off with aftermarket shocks, in conjunction with sway bars and bushings?

the problem with autoride is that it's a very hard system to get to work with any lowering kit.

aftermarket is a better better..

a 4 way air ride system would kill all of that and add the looks and performance

Thanks LarryE.  I think I'll save the $ I would have spent on autoride, and use it for suspension upgrades.
