I don't need them Yet but I see a BL in my future. Whenever you have time a shopping list would be a big help.

For the front guards:

Description: High-strength multipurpose neoprene rubber, 1/16" thick, 12" x 24", 40a Durometer

Price: $11.55 each

Quantity: 2

McMaster Carr Part Number: 8568K521

Description: Nylon Robbed Shank Rivet, 0.250" hole diameter, 0.098"-0.472" material thickness, black

Price: $4.95 (pack of 25)

Quantity: 1

McMaster Carr Part Number: 90221A118

For the rear guards:

Description: ABS Sheet, 1/8" thick

Price: Depends on size purchased (24" x 48" = $44.44)

McMaster Carr Part Number: 8586K262

Description: 3/16" aluminum rivets (stainless preferred).

I would recommend getting the ABS in a 48" length. I believe my guards are ~39" in length and they could have used another inch or two in hindsight. Also, I made the width of mine ~5.25". IMO shorter doesn't look right. If/when someone wants to do this I can take another picture (closer) and show where I chose to mount them.

For the front guards, I cut out small squares of abs and drilled 1/4" holes in them. These small squares were used as "nuts" to sandwich the rubber. This allowed just the heads to be visible on the outside, while providing confidence that the rubber will not back off the plastic rivet.

right now i have the 2" front leveling kit, and i replaced the rear factory blocks with the 3" readlift blocks, giving a 1.75" rake.

in the pictures i have seen with a front leveling kit and a 3" BL, it looks like there is some decent rake.

is the BL going to give more lift to the rear than to the front? i already have 1.75" of rake, and i dont think anymore would look that good.

i would only go with the 3" BL if it lifted the truck the same in front and in the rear.

i am wondering if anyone has knowledge on this. zone said that it will lift everything 3", but by the pictures i am not convinced.

thanks!

Its a body lift .. it lifts the entire body 3"s all around... Its determined by the fact that the spacers are all 3"..
