Afm Sounds Exhaust

Anyone know where I can find some sound files of a truck with AFM and a aftermarket exhaust? I am particually interested in what it sounds like in V-4 mode. I want to get an after market exhaust but not sure if I would like to v-4 mode sound. I have a 2010 Sierra with 5.3 6 Speed. Any help/suggestions is appciated

Iknow I didnt like the sound of mine in 4 mode.It sounded exactly like what it does 4 cyc missing.

Well, if you go with a Corsa, you will have no drone, and minimal to no change in sound from V8 to V4

I went with a Gibson system. At first the afm didn't really bother me, sounded wierd but not horrible, but after a few days I just turned it off, just couldn't handle it anymore. I have tried out speeds up to 85 and have experienced no drone whatsoever.

I have a 2010 All terrain sierra w/5.3 1300 miles on it and I put the Cherry bomb preformace muffler on with the stock exhaust and tailpipe, sounds great and improved HP. but I to wonder about the V4 mode I like the idea of the fuel savings but not sure how long I will be able to take the 4cyl stubble, V4 just doesn't sound good. Might have to shut it off.

I have true dual 12 inch glass packs on my rig. No drone at all! You can definitely tell when it kicks back and forth from 4 cylinder to V8, but nothing a little music can't fix

Well, If I were you, I'd get a tune first, and recoup your funds a little, and go for the exhaust. Just curious, what tune do you plan to go with

I'm running a Magnaflow single tip. I cured my 4 mode spudder with Black Bear.

Remember that it is cheaper to turn AFM off (with a custom PCM tune thrown in for free ) than it is to upgrade to Corsa.
