Chevy has been giving 5year/100,000 mile warranties since....the nnbs correct?....when you sell your truck must you transfer it..with the vehicle...is there a charge involved...A friend...of mine was looking at one...like an 08 at a dealership...

I was never told anything about warranty when I purchased mine..so im assuming the original buyer...eather...let the warranty go or who knows.

No, it does not matter who owns the truck, its covered as long as its within the warranty period. There is no name that goes on anything related to warranty, the warranty stays with the truck. You do not have to transfer anything, they don't care who owns it.

in 2007 it was the same as it is now - 3yr/ 36,000 mile Bumper to Bumper Warranty and 5yr/ 100,000 mile powertrain warranty
