04 Sierra P0300 Problem

I to have this same issue with the missing and flashing cel. I've replaced plugs, wires, fuel pump, moved coils around and keep getting p0300 and p0171. I have pinging at high rpms and a serious shutter on cold starts. I've read that a crank relearn helps. But I was also wondering if just changing the crank position sensor will do the job? I'm sick of shitty mileage and I do alot of towing and travel so any help would help.

can you replace the crank sensor which is located above the starter motor on the block on most 6L. ?

then crank sensor relearn?

Too Many Questions because I can do it my self as well if the tech replies to the other posts.

Yes, you can replace the crank position sensor. Be warned, it's a pain in the ass. I finally cleared up this ongoing issue with my truck by replacing a dead/dieing coil pack.
