Yes there is plenty of room. I have one kicker 10" L7 in a ported box powered by a kicker 750.1 plenty of bass.

I wanted to put one in my truck until I found out you have to run a power supply through the firewall directly to the battery. I looked for a hole already there I could run it through and there is not one on mine. I would not be comfortable drilling in it. Probably no big deal, I'm still just not comfortable with it. These darn trucks cost too much! haha

look at the website subthump.com. they have all kinds of speaker boxes that are taylor made for all kinds of vehicles. that is where I found a box for my 07' reg cab. i listen to a lot of differ tunes and a set of 8's would really sound good for you also if you did not want bigger subs.

i bought my box off of subthump as well. I bought a single 10" box and put a JL 10W0V2, powered by an Alping MRP-M500. This is plenty of power for me. I don't listen to a lot of music with heavy bass, but it definitely delivers a nice crisp bass to compliment my system.
