Limit Straps On 2-3" Cognito

Hi,

I just received the Cognito 2-3" UCA kit and read that I should have limit straps. Are these necessary? I will be doing a lot of off-roading. Also, are there any less expensive alternative straps to the Cognito ones that you guys can recommend? I have a 2008 2500hd.

  I'd be interested to hear from a real user too. There are so many things the built-in screen does that I am sure they won't tell you if they break anything. Like trailering, for example. When you hit the turn signal with a trailer attached, my 2021 shows me a side view that is as good as an extended towing mirror. I would not want to give that up. Sure, the factory screen is diminutive by 2026 standards, but giving up functions like that would be a dealbreaker.

  I'd be OK if SLT disappeared. Mind hits the gutter same as when I see TRD plastered on the side of a Toyota. TRD SLT 🧐
