Well I received my 20783877 vcim with antenna attached today and bluetooth seems to work great made some calls and received some calls all good.Yes the red light is on but all seems to work great, I never once used on-star anyways.I call a local salvage yard and they found it for me and had it shipped from I don't know where right to my house. The install on a truck without the center console is super easy by the way, so thanks to everyone who has helped with finding the right vcims.

I know there is a ton of info about adding BT but I have a simple question that I can't seem find an answer to:

 

It seems many are adding part number 20783877 to pre-2009 vehicles and having the red light issue. But what about when adding 20783877 to a 2010 vehicle? Has it been determined if 20783877 will function 100% (OnStar and all) when installed in a 2010 vehicle?

There is no reason why it shouldn't.
