Air Conditioner

I have a 06 1/2 ton with the fancy climate control. By fancy I mean with the digital display. I seem to be having an issue with it. I bought the pickup in winter and I would set it at 65 when it was -20 out and it would somtimes turn the air conditioner on. Now its obviously summer and on 80-100 degree days it works like a charm. But when its 60 to 75 degrees out and I want air it will not work. I turn it down to 60 degrees and push the air contioning button and the little snow flake just flashes a few times and go's off. Ive tried shutting off the pickup for a while and pushing it for ten minutes straight but nothing works. Thanks for any input.

Sounds like the vehicle's ECU has its ambient-temperature (AT) setting out of sink; or maybe the AT sensor is faulty?

Maybe someone on the forum can chime in an idea...

Might need to re-flash the climate control head (re-flash the computer that controls it).
