00 Gmc 1500 Abs Codes After 35" Tires And Chip

So a couple weeks ago I installed a 6" lift and 35" toyo mt tires on my 00 gmc 1500 5.3L 4x4, the truck was fine for weeks then a couple days ago I installed the Bullydog gt tuner to recalibrate my speedo and to pickup a little power, and like an idiot I forgot to pull the fuses before installing the download. Then the truck worked good for a couple days then started my truck one morning and my ABS light and my parking brake light were on shut it off and restarted and it was off this has happened a couple times over the last week. looked into the codes and the are to do with the abs motor/ computor something to do with the activaton solonoid i belive dont rember the exact code. i read in the directions that programing the speedo over 35" will cause a ABS light but mine are exactly 35 so im not sure if thats the problem or my stupid error fried the ABS computor.

Thanks

If your ABS code was due to the larger tires, the code would be along the lines of an ABS sensor "output out of range" or something of the sorts.

Post up the actual codes so we can be more helpful.

FWIW: on my 2005 w/35s I used to get an ABS code after different amounts of driving. I had to tweak the tire size by 1/4" increments until the "setting" in the computer was more properly matched for the "actual" effective radius of the tire. In short, what happens when you reach 35" tires is the error allowed in the difference between wheel speeds is reduced so you have to be more accurate with the tire size programed. The ABS code cause from this has nothing to do with the ABS motor/computer though (but i cant remember the code off the top of my head)
