Power Running Boards

I just bought a 2007 Avalanche with power running boards. The pasanger side works only intermittently , it will go down but needs help to get it up . the drivers side just started to do the same thing . Just wondering if anybody had any ideas has to why?

  That's a good question. Over-the-Air technology allows some software updates for certain vehicle components to be downloaded and installed over a wireless connection. Updates are downloaded and installed via Connected Access or by connecting your vehicle to a Wi-Fi network. When an update is made available for your vehicle, you’ll get an in-vehicle notice. This will happen the next time you turn your vehicle on or put it in park.   Didn't I read where if Gm does the valve body on the "Allison", you get a 10yr/150k warranty? Kinda wish mine has a minor blip around 24k. Get a free trans service, and a pile of warranty.
