Speaker Wiring Question

Recommended Posts

I have a pair of Delco 6 x 9s that I've had since the 80s. I want to use them as a pair of portable outside speakers for my travel trailer. I've pretty much got the wiring figured out to connect it to the trailer's stereo, I just need to be able to connect the speakers easily to the wiring (detachable for travel).

Does anyone know if I can get the correct connector from a GM dealer?

If I have to I can solder a pair of male connectors to the speakers, then terminate the stereo harness w/ female connectors.

For what you'll pay for those connectors, you can go to wal-mart and buy some brand new roadmaster or vr3 speakers and they'll sound MUCH better than any stock speakers form the 80s.
