2009 Silverado Ext. Cab 5.3L. I am looking at replacing my stock Muffler with a Magnaflow. Part #12219. 5x8 14" Will that work for me?

So I called the muffler place and am getting duals installed tomorrow. They recommended at 26" but I really think that will be way to quiet. They said they will do whatever I wanted so I am thinking the 14". Thoughts?

I would definitely not do a muffler swap just to put on a 26". Like you said, a 14" or a 10" would be a great mid sounding tone.
