Rc Leveling Kit

Is it something that I could to myself ( i have some mechanical abilty) or should i pay $100 to have it done? Its going on a 2wd 08 1500.

Simple hand tools are fine, or do I need air impact tools?

Is this a popular leveling kit for GMC's? Does it add any height or take away? I can't seem to find them online, where would I get them? I'm in Canada BTW.

 

They work for 2wd?

Rough Country Leveling Kit

I gained about 1.75" in the front.

The truck is perfectly level now.

do it your self! ive herd of people pulling lower 2 bolts off strut and just using a good pry bar and sliding the spacer under and putting the bolts in taking like 15 mins. Thats what im going to do

I installed a 2" leveling kit in the front end of my 08 Silverado. It is a brainless install as stated by all on this thread. I tool my truck into Les Schwab for an alignment. NOt much adjustment, but I feel good. You will have to adjust your headlight aim a little lower as well.

just installed mine today and well worth the purchase. mine being short cab/box, had very dramatic forward rake compared to others with extended cabs, long beds, etc. Very easy, but have a buddy around just as an extra set of eyes in case you forget a washer like i did.
