capstone-ed Posted August 8, 2010 Posted August 8, 2010 I have a '08 Silverado with a Suspension MAX 3" leveling kit. We went with Diamo D17 Wheels, 18X10 and Nitto Terra Grapplers, 325/60/18... I was told that with this leveling kit that i could run this combo without a rub...I have a bad rub now. What is the best solution for this problem? Can I get new shocks? 2 inch body lift? the truck looks awesome and i dont want to lose these rims and tires. Thanks in advance for any help or suggestions!
JRLZ71 Posted August 8, 2010 Posted August 8, 2010 Body lift. http://zoneoffroad.com/product?ki=147&gr=-1
Stevens03 Posted August 9, 2010 Posted August 9, 2010 Yeah, a body lift will be the cheapest solution if you install it yourself.
wescollins Posted August 9, 2010 Posted August 9, 2010 I'm not sure that 1.5" will be enough, but it could be, according to where it's rubbing. You didn't say what offset those wheels are. Might still have to trim some after the 1.5" lift.
capstone-ed Posted August 10, 2010 Author Posted August 10, 2010 Thanks for the help guys! We have the issue corrected
capstone-ed Posted August 10, 2010 Author Posted August 10, 2010 We had to do some minor trimming. I thought this would be the best fix, as I did not want to add anymore lift to the truck
lsuguy Posted August 10, 2010 Posted August 10, 2010 wow a 3" level. That does not sound healthy. Why hasn't Matt commented on this yet?? And if you don't mind, can you post a bigger picture?

yukon25008.1 Posted August 10, 2010 Posted August 10, 2010 If you went with a 305 vs a 325.... it probably wouldnt rub, do the tires have to be that wide? a 305/60/18 is like a 33 12.50
