Morning,

 

I havn't been a member of a automotive forum in about 3 years since I got rid of my Avalanche (they have one too).

Picked up a 2007 Silverado 1500 LT a while ago with no complaints. I'm getting ready for some new shoes and was

thinking about adding a leveling kit, so in my searching for answer's I came across this forum with some really great and

diverse information. Figured I would go ahead and join. (No, I'm not gonna ask a generic "Leveling Kit" question, so no one

needs to throw the "Go Search" post out there)

Like your custom paint job, but the wooden console, not so much, and oh yeah, welcome here. :)

 

 

Yeah, not so happy with the MDF/Carpet covered console either. The top where everything is mounted is Marine Lumber aka Star Board.

It comes in black and has the same texture pattern as the OEM dash.

This truck had the jump seat in it, at some point I'll pick up a OEM console and convert it to my needs for a more refined look. Considering the equipment needed not sure a refined OEM look will be completely possible. :dunno:
