What Do You Think Is Wrong With My Transmision?

The truck starts up fine till about 25 mph then revs up and won't go any faster for about five minutes then it will shift or when it is going down a hill it will shift. Then again at around 55mph it will have the same problem again. What do you think? I tried checking old posts to no avail.

First thing I would check is fluid level with the truck and trans warmed up, in park, idling and see if that is correct. If that is good, then you might want to think about rebuild time.

Did it just start it out of the blue? And what about DTC's???

Has it felt odd shifting???? And now it is not shifting....

Could be a dead shift solenoid......

yes, for a couple weeks prior, when getting onto the highway or anytime when going over 55mph it would feel like it was "slipping up" as if it was having an issue shifting but adjusted quickly and then was fine. Now it is doing it at 25mph and takes appx. 5 mins to shift.

DTC's???

Could be a valve in the valve body. Could be frictions.... These newer transmissions should shift the same from new, as they do the day before they need rebuilding.
