raquettelaker2 Posted September 26, 2010 Posted September 26, 2010 My grandfather has an '03 Yukon Denali. He's saying he has no instrument panel lighting. All the gauges work, and the warning lights flash when he starts it, but there's no back lighting. He said he looked for a fuse but couldn't find one. (Is there one?) I know nothing about these cars. I was thinking maybe the bulbs are burnt out but I find it weird that they'd all go at once. Are they traditional bulbs or LED? Thanks in advance for any help you can offer!
sonjaab Posted September 27, 2010 Posted September 27, 2010 Just a note: In some GM vehicles the dash lights and taillights are on the same circuit/fuse. So if the dash is out your taillights may be also.
KMGZ400 Posted September 27, 2010 Posted September 27, 2010 dimmer switch?? thats what i was thinking..... never heard of that problem otherwise though...
nickvrebel Posted September 29, 2010 Posted September 29, 2010 is it just the instrument lights or the entire dash? as others stated, if it's everything (radio buttons, etc.) then it sounds like the dimmer switch was finagled.
