Shocks

I have an 05 hd sierra ext. cab that is used for heavy landscaping work. I tow a trailer with it every day and plow snow with a 7.5 western all winter. Trailer is always loaded and heavy. Anyways, want to replace shocks as truck feels bouncy, especially in the rear. What are the best shocks to replace with for my use. Am leaning toward Kyb monomax or Bilstein hd monotubes. I am really confused and would like some real world experiences with what others have tried. Thanks.

I'm not familiar with the Bilsteins but I just installed the KYB Monomax on my 02 Z71 Silverado. My truck has 97k on it and I pulled the original shocks off and installed the Monomax. The original shocks didn't feel bad when I pulled them. After riding around for a few days. I do not see any difference in my ride, it is same as it was with the original shocks on.

Now the Bilsteins might be different. The monomax are not gas charged, at least when I pushed down on them they didn't push back like I thought they would.

With how he is using his vehicle, plowing all winter and daily trailer towing, he really needs a stouter shock than the Reflex. Even Monroe doesn't recommend it for his type of application, they recommend their Magnum series
