How To Disable Dtrl?

Recommended Posts

Hey Guys,

I plan to install some HID's on my truck but want to see if it's possible to permanently disable the day time running lights? I rather them come on automatically only when it's dark outside.

Thanks for your help.

No need to skip on it. I dont think there is an easier way to disable the. I just installed my HIDs the other week and yankin the fuses is how i booted the DRLs. Order em up.

Its pretty easy to install HIDs on these trucks. From what i read i though it would of been harder but it wasnt. Pass side you take out the air box and your in. Driver side, loosen the washer fluid reservoir and you will have access to it. Driver side is a little tighter tho. Me and a friend did my truck and his tahoe in under 2 hrs.
