I'm no expert but depending on what kind of driving you do and if you tow or not I would assume the experts here will suggest 4.56 or 4.88's I think.

I'm no expert either, but I if it were me and I wasn't doing any towing I would probably go with 4.10s. If you are gunna do any towing then I would probably go with 4.56s or 4.88s like Brett said. Matt will probably have something to say on this soon and he knows more about it than I do.

4.56's would be the best choice for both mileage and power, but I certainly wouldn't be afraid of 4.88's. :tear:

I'm only an expert at drinking beer but I have 4.88's with a 4 speed and 5.3 running 35's and I do love them.

I seldom if ever tow anything and I don't think 4.10's would be worth the cost to swap.

I get around 12.5 mpg with city driving.

4.56 or 4.88 (not to sure about a 4.78 :seeya:)

But I agree that Matt will chime in and set you on the right track.

with the 4.88 the rpm is not too high at 62mph (100KM/H)??

I have the 4.8L and most of you have the 5.3 or bigger any one with the 4.8L and 4.88 on 35'' ??

I checked the speedo today and at 62 mph the rpm was at 2050 or 2100 right in that range.

With the 4.8L I would def not hesitate to go with the 4.88's. I have them with the 5.3 and I love them.
