Wipers Mist

I recently purchased a 2010 Silverado 1500 LT. My wipers don't appear to spray any mist. I see this design does not have the spray nozzles on the cowling like most vehicles. It looks like the nozzles are incorporated with the wiper arms. I can't see any wiper fluid coming out and the windshield just streaks badly. My wiper fluid reservoir is full. Just wondering if it is a poor design or if I have issue I need to take to the dealer. Thanks for your patience with this dumb question.

Take it back to the dealer. They should work.

I agree. Mine work great. It's probably a very simple fix.

Do some searching, I think there may be a TSB or recall on it. I know it was for the heated tank units, but I believe there was another for the mist too.

Really? At least the wiper solution goes on the windshield instead of the roof and all over the car in back of you...

 

To the OP -- check the fluid line directly under the drivers side hood hinge. I bet it has been crimped / damaged in that area. Also do you hear the ww pump run? if not check the fuse, and if all fails, take it back to the dealer and have him deal with it...
