Finally got a CD-RW.

 

40x-12x-40x Samsung, got 50 free Cd-r disc's(and 1 CD-r and 1 CD-RW in the box) with it and a $50 rebate to boot. Came with the cool Samsing CD Burn software(roxio pureburn). It crash the system at first then I realized I had it set as "master" on the IDE cable with it was a "slave" on the IDE cable. Now it works great.

ARG! I gotta uninstall it to get the serial number for the $50 rebate. GEZ!!!!   Well the next half hour will the the kick off of my boring weekend. What do I have to do? nothing.  Find someone to do something with? most are out of town.  I need something to do. Too bad I don't have enough cash to go pick up some aftermarkt truck stuuf to "throw" on. [thats my idea of fun]
