Tailgate Lock Problem

I went to unlock my tailgate this morning and the damn thing wont unlock. It's like the key I have been using since I got it doesn't work. Anyone ever have this problem?

jiggle it... just a little bit....

 

seriously... mine does that sometimes, just jiggle it in the hole a little and it'll catch.

I see the guy got his replaced under warranty. I bought mine from gmpartsdirect.com so I'm not sure what's going to happen.

GM parts are 12 month warranty.

Yea mine broke some time ago. Had it replace under warranty and knock on wood has been fine since.

I went to my dealer this afternoon and of course they never heard of gmpartsdirect.com but since I had my invoice they are going to replace it tomorrow.
