Fog Lights

Anybody else here have the issue of a fog light randomly working? My drivers side fog light goes out all the time. I don't use them on a regular basis, but I would like them to be working correctly.

I have gotten under the front of my truck a few times and checked for loose wires, but I cannot find any. However, while doing so I must wiggle something the right way because the fog light turns back on. I guess since I just purchased the truck I could take it back and have them fix it, but thats just a bigger hassle then I want to deal with.

Any suggestions??

Thanks

Try a new bulb. I have had the bulb contacts wear or corrode and make intermittent contact causing them to not work at times. Also, if the filament is broken it may sometimes connect from vibration allowing it to work at times and then not at others.

I had this happen to a low-beam headlight on my truck, it would work if I wiggled the wire then it stopped working, then one time I slammed the hood it worked for awhile then it burnt out for good. I changed it (along with the otherside always do em' in pairs) new one has stayed on since replacement.

Also, there is a grounding wire on the fog light wire harness. That wire is attached with a screw to the radiator core support. Make sure the ground connection is not loose or corroded.
