Spark Plug Gap

Hi guys, I recently installed NGK platinum's in my '00 Silverado. I know GM wants their Iridium's gapped at .04 but what about these ngk platinum tipped plugs? Rock Auto also says .04 on these. I am asking because IIRC, the new .04 gap recommendation was only for the Iridium's according to GM.

The .040 is recommended for all plugs.

To expand on this GMset the gap for all LS_ engines a few years ago to .040. It had been .060.
