Hell...I'm just a dog catcher...err...Community Service Officer, but I was bought two pairs of pants, three shirts, a jacket, boots, inner belt, duty belt, all of the holders and was provided OC, a TASER, cuffs...nothing was out of pocket...for lowly 'ol me.

Our agency does provide some duty weapons/patrol rifles. But I own my handgun/rifle/shotty, boots, cuffs, and flashlights. Everything else is provided. Now that I think about it, I'm glad it's that way. I wouldn't give up my Glock for anything.
